1. Introduction
Welcome to the Chop Local operated by CHOP LOCAL LLC, located at 2730 E Broadway Blvd, Ste 230, Tucson, AZ 85716, USA. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Eligibility and Account Creation
To use the App, you must be at least 13 years old. By creating an account, you represent that you are of legal age to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.To register, you must provide accurate and complete information, including your name, email address, date of birth, and phone number. You agree to keep your information up to date at all times. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and any activity that occurs under your account.When logging into the App, you may do so using your phone number. A verification code will be sent to your registered phone number for authentication purposes.
3. Use of Personal Data
By using the App, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information as described in our [Privacy Policy]. Your information is used exclusively by Chop Local to provide and improve the App’s services. We do notshare, sell, or transfer your personal data to other companies or brands.
4. Wallet Functionality
The Chop Local App allows you to earn and view your digital wallet balance (“Wallet”) when visiting participating restaurants. Each restaurant within the Chop Local network has its own separate Wallet.When you make a purchase at a participating restaurant, you can present your personal Chop Local code to accumulate electronic credits in your Wallet. These credits represent a form of loyalty reward, not legal tender or cash. The value, redemption, and expiration of credits are determined by each participating restaurant and may vary.You can view your accumulated balance and transaction history for each restaurant directly in the App. Wallet balances are personal and non-transferable between users or restaurants.Chop Local reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Wallet program at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to users.
5. Suggesting New Restaurants
If your favorite restaurant is not yet part of the Chop Local network, you can suggest it directly through the App. Chop Local may contact the suggested restaurant but does not guarantee that it will join the platform.
6. User Responsibilities and Restrictions
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You shall not: (a) use the App to transmit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems; (c) use the App in a manner that could harm, disable, or impair its functionality or reputation; (d) interfere with other users’ experience; or (e) use the App for commercial purposes without prior written authorization from Chop Local.Chop Local reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or engages in any fraudulent or abusive activity.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and materials within the App are the exclusive property of Chop Local LLC or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without prior written permission from Chop Local.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chop Local LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the App or the Wallet program. We make no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App.Your participation in the Wallet program is voluntary, and Chop Local does not guarantee any specific benefits, rewards, or outcomes from its use.
9. Modification of Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Any changes will be effective upon posting in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us or through the App settings. Chop Local may also terminate or suspend your account at its discretion if you breach these Terms or engage in any fraudulent or harmful activity.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved in the courts located in Pima County, Arizona.
